Glenn Kiser began his film career as a messenger for Propaganda Films in 1991, eventually working his way up to serve as the company’s Executive in Charge of Post-Production, working with directors such as David Fincher, Spike Jonze, Neil LaBute, Jane Campion, and Barry Levinson. From 1999-2010 he was the VP & General Manager of Skywalker Sound, a division of Lucasfilm Ltd, which provides post-production services for film, television, games, and digital media. While at Skywalker, he oversaw sound work on projects as varied as Avatar, The Incredibles, Million Dollar Baby, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Shortbus. During his tenure, Skywalker artists received a total of 25 Academy Award-nominations for Best Sound and Best Sound Editing and won twice. In 2014 Kiser was named the Director of the Dolby Institute, the training and education initiative of Dolby Laboratories.

She’s the creator and series producer of Correspondent Confidential, an illustrated documentary series on VICE News. For six years she led digital storytelling projects at the Center for Investigative Reporting as Senior Multimedia Producer. Her specialty is narrative multimedia and exploring ways to use digital media tools—including video, audio, photography, animation, and interactive graphics—to push the boundaries of storytelling on the Web. Before she got into multimedia she was a magazine editor, newspaper reporter, and video journalist. She has a master’s degree in journalism from UC Berkeley. Currently Carter is CEO of JTS.TV – Just The Story, a premium television network distributed via Smart TV, mobile apps, and the JTS.TV website. His clients have produced numerous feature and short films, independent series, and new media projects. His passion and current focus is developing financial models to make independent television sustainable for content creators via Internet distribution.
